Sunday Service

Our service takes place every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Nyon. The service begins with a time of worship and praise. Children and teens are encouraged to stay in the service during this time and then are invited to attend Sunday school classes or the youth program. There is a creche for toddlers aged one to three years old. There is even a soundproof “baby room” at the back of the Sanctuary where moms or dads with infants can sit and enjoy the service and still tend to their little ones.

Since our church family is comprised of many nationalities, all coming from varied church denominational backgrounds, the form of our service might seem a little bit different to you. We try to incorporate the essential elements of Christian worship: Prayer, Praise and Preaching.

• We pray because God listens! Prayer is an expression of our faith that God has made us, knows us, loves us and wants to enjoy a relationship with Him.
• We thank and praise God because of who He is and what He has done for us. At Westlake, our form of worship is a blend of traditional hymns as well as contemporary music, and we incorporate piano, guitar (including bass), flute, violin and drums.
• We explore the Bible through preaching because we believe that it is God’s complete and fina l word to us – revealing all that we need to know about God, ourselves and the relationship between us.

We aim to make our services meaningful, easy to follow and understand, and trust that they provide an opportunity for people to grow in their Christian faith – or even to discover it for the first time. 

Each sermon at Westlake is recorded, so you can either purchase or borrow CDs of sermons you would like to hear again or pass on to a friend, or download them for free from this website.
