Westlake Church Lausanne

Westlake Church Lausanne is a satellite congregation of Westlake Church Nyon that was spearheaded by Westlake members living in the Lausanne/ Morges area. Our new pastor, Martin Slack, has taken up his new post with an incredible amount of energy, enthusiasm and drive. There was a special Induction Service for him on Sunday, June 8, to officially recognize him as Pastor of Westlake Church Lausanne.

We have been meeting regularly at the Foyer des Pâquis in St. Sulpice since December 2005. We are now meeting regularly every Sunday morning, mostly in St. Sulpice, but also in other locations as needed. Listed below are the dates and locations when we will have services in the Lausanne area.

The Lausanne area worship service starts at 10:30 and ends at noon. We encourage people to stay after the service to get to know one another over a cup of coffee or tea. The service begins with a time of family worship and then the children are invited to attend Sunday school classes during the sermon. We provide:

Outside of the Sunday worship service, weekly Westlake activities in the Lausanne area include:

Small Groups – this is the core of the Westlake Lausanne community. Here you can receive encouragement, fellowship, Bible study and pastoral care.

Youth Group – we are in the process of revamping our youth program which now goes by the name of refuel. It's for 11-18 year olds and will encompass weekly meetings, social activities and a yearly weekend youth retreat. The Friday evening meetings are going extremely well and there has been good feedback.

Sunday School – we offer a comprehensive Sunday school program for children ages 3-10. Aside from bible teaching held during the Sunday services, there are also opportunities for social activities for children.

Women’s Bible Studies – there are currently two groups meeting at various times of the week for bible study, fellowship and encouragement.

Prayer meeting – the last Friday of every month we meet together for a time of corporate prayer.
