Our Life Groups and different ministries play a key role in how we care for one another at Westlake. We encourage each Life Group and ministry leader to select a point person to help coordinate practical care for the group and communicate pastoral care needs to the church elders and our core care team.
Stephen Ministry
​Stephen Ministers demonstrate Christ's love by providing high quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are struggling through a difficult time in life—experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or some other life crisis. Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with that person once a week for about an hour.
